Idaho Falls, ID

Morning beckons with a hot shower, breakfast, a short 45-minute drive, and then your dreams become reality.  Your guide eases your boat into the world-famous South Fork of the Snake, anticipation is high as you lazily float downstream until “Fish On” and from that moment on your day is non-stop action.  World class cutthroat trout fishing at its best, and the rest of the world disappears.  But like all good things the sun sets on the first day of your adventure.

Back in town, you take a walk along our famous River Walk, stop for a drink at one of our many great breweries and pubs.  Next up, fine dining along the river, stories about today’s fishing, and a long discussion of what to do tomorrow.  Do we fish the Henry’s Fork of the Snake, Henry’s Lake, float the Hoback on a whitewater adventure, soak in hot pools, take a zip-line adventure, spend a day touring Yellowstone National Park, Jackson Hole, Grand Teton National Park, or Craters of the Moon National Monument.  You see, Idaho Falls is so much more than world-class trout fishing.  You could take in 18 holes of golf at our gorgeous local courses, stroll along our Riverwalk which stretches over six miles along both sides of the Snake River, visit the Museum of Idaho, check out the zoo or the art walk, and so much more.   These great adventures are less than two hours from your home base in Idaho Falls.

“Where Great Adventure Begins” is more than a slogan, it is reality here in Idaho Falls.  The outdoors are a part of our lifestyle and we know how to enjoy it year round.  Come and stay and come to play.  With unbeatable hospitality and the incredible Rocky Mountains in our back yard, your adventure truly will begin in Idaho Falls.
